Robert Bellin (IM) will be giving a talk on outposts and weak squares at the Redditch chess club on 22nd May.
This is a follow on to his very well received talk on knight endings last year. Robert is an International Master, a former British champion, and a prolific author on openings and middlegames. He is an active player with a recent draw against Boris Gelfand in Gibraltar. He is a very entertaining presenter and it promises to be another excellent evening.
We are aiming to start at 7.15 pm with a 10.00 pm finish.
The entry fee will be £8 payable in advance or on the night with a reduced fee for juniors.
Please reply to Michele Clack (firstname.lastname@example.org) and/ or Nigel Towers (email@example.com) if you are interested and would like to reserve a place.
